There have been rumors, reports, and even leaks of an upcoming SVR version of the outrageously successful F-Type. Tpday, we can officially confirm that the F-Type will indeed gain the SVR badge as the brand announced it will debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Jaguar didn't reveal too much info on the upcoming sports car, save for the video above that shows off its stunning aesthetics and intimidating growl. Also revealed is the fact that this version of the F-Type will actually crest the 200 mph marl, making the fastest of its type. In addition to being insanely fast, the F-Type SVR will also be useful thanks to its all-wheel drive.
The 2017 F-Type SVR will show its face on March 1, 2016 in Geneva, then make its way to the Jaguar Greensboro showroom in the summer of 2016. Keep a close eye on our inventory page to be the first to know when it arrives.
