It's only been a few months since the release of the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE, the British brand's all-new (and first-ever) compact luxury crossover, and already the positive reviews are rolling in from seemingly every corner of the industry.
And, judging by the following clip, Autotrader critic Tara Trompeter is the latest to adopt this trend. Click "play" to discover what, in her mind, makes the F-PACE such a fine pick:
While we've nothing but love for the F-PACE's entry-level engine -- a 340-horsepower super-V6 -- we believe its alternative engine option, a 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline four-cylinder, is well worth a look, too.
Served up standard with the 20d AWD trim, this diesel-drinker makes 180 horsepower and a massive 318 pound-feet of torque. And though official fuel economy figures are not yet available, Jaguar expects the 20d AWD to return somewhere in the upper-20 mpg combined range.
So, what's the hold-up, faithful friend? The time is now to experience the splendor of this SUV. As such, we invite you to pop by our Greensboro, NC facility, whereupon we'll happily arrange a test drive in the F-PACE, or any other Jaguar model that's commanded your curiosity.
